LeaRN visits Viet Nam and Sri Lanka

In line with efforts to further strengthen and expand its links in the region, representatives from the Learning and Research Network (LeaRN) recently visited network partners and potential partner institutions in Viet Nam and Sri Lanka. The project visits allowed the LeaRN people to gain a better understanding of the work of the partners in CBCRM. read more

Regional workshop on Governance in CBCRM slated for March 2004

The CBCRM LeaRN is scheduled to hold a Regional Workshop on Governance in CBCRM on March 1-4, 2004 at the Lake Island Resort in Binangonan, Rizal in the Philippines. The workshop aims primarily to draw lessons from experiences on community participation in coastal governance in Asia and Canada, and to identify options on improving current practice in the region. PME Cluster to organize a CRM framework workshop

Members of the Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Cluster of the Resource Center's Pool of Fellows have agreed to hold a workshop in February next year to discuss and assess existing frameworks for implementing, monitoring and evaluating Coastal Resources Management (CRM) projects. read more
