Session, Siesta at Socials: Paghahalaw ng Karanasan, Pananaw at mga Aral sa Pag-oorganisa sa CBCRM
Edited by Amiella Marie M. Dasig, Angelito G. Manalili and Fermin P. Manalo Jr., CBCRM Resource Center (2003), pp. 180, Php 200.00 (USD4)
Written in Filipino, this book is based on the results of a consultation held in preparation for the Community Organizing Conference. Leaders from various people's organizations (POs) in coastal communities agreed then to collaborate on writing a book aimed at sharing their own experiences in organizing. Part one shares some of the experiences of fisherfolk groups in organizing community associations and municipality- or province-wide federations. Part two presents organizing experiences within the context of CBCRM. Part three shares some reflections on organizing work among coastal communities in the Philippines.
