Building Institutions for Learning and Development (BUILD)

BUILD aims to facilitate the development of learning organizations among CBCRM acters (NGOs, POs, academic and research institutions, etc.) in the Philippines towards equitable and sustainable natural resources management and community development.

BUILD endeavors to do this by:

• Providing capacity-building opportunities to institutionalize learning and knowledge management among partners.
• Enhancing partnerships and exchanges among CBCRM acters.
• Applying the knowledge generated by the CBCRM Resource Center and its partners in the areas of participatory monitoring and evaluation (PME), fisheries management (FM), community organizing (CO), law and governance (L&G), sustainable livelihoods (SL), gender mainstreaming and organizational development (OD)..
• Building on the experiences of OD practitioners that would advance the gains of the CBCRM movement as part of the broader movement for societal change.

BUILD is being supported by Oxfam Hong Kong (OHK) and Oxfam Great Britain (OGB) Philippines.
